Most people look perplexed or even a bit incredulous when they hear that I am an ordained minister and an attorney.
The usual retort is tinged with sarcasm, “Well, that is interesting. How do you reconcile those two careers?” The assumption is that one profession is highly respected while the other is not. Surely I need not identify which profession has a lower public opinion.
