The Georgia Supreme Court has voted unanimously to disbar Atlanta City Council member H. Lamar Willis, saying he pocketed $30,000 in settlement funds meant for a personal injury client. The defendant in the personal injury case had to pay the plaintiff twice and seek reimbursement from Willis, who has not paid the funds back, the justices said.
