I became a board member of the Manna Fund after meeting Genie Burnett, executive director of the Manna Fund, in 2012 and playing in their charity golf tournament that fall.

Genie had an eating disorder when she was younger and became a psychologist who now works with patients struggling with their own eating disorders. She started the Manna Fund in 2006 after observing that patients were often unable to afford necessary inpatient treatment due to insurance limitations relating to this illness.
