Diversity executive Lori Garrett has left the Minority Corporate Counsel Association for executive recruitment boutique BarkerGilmore. Garrett will head the Atlanta office and co-chair the women and diversity initiative for the New York-based recruiter, which handles in-house counsel, compliance officer and board of director placements. She joined as a managing director.

Garrett had been vice president and managing director of the Southeast since 2009 for the MCCA, which advocates for the hiring, promotion and retention of minority attorneys in corporate legal departments and their law firms.
