The Cobb County jurors who awarded $35 million to the victim of a 2007 gang beating outside the entrance to Six Flags Over Georgia laid the heaviest burden on the party with the deepest pockets.

The Nov. 20 verdict said the amusement park should pay 92 percent of the award, with only 8 percent apportioned to the four attackers, who were Six Flags employees.
