A.B. Martin, one of the name partners of Morris Manning & Martin, died Monday of complications from heart failure, the firm has announced. He was 87.

A force among Atlanta’s commercial real estate lawyers, Martin started practicing real estate law in 1950 and kept at it for a half-century, until retiring in 2000. He joined Morris Manning & Martin in 1984, when the firm was just seven years old.
