A parent whose child is seriously ill wants miracles, and that is what Leslie Jones received from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta when her teenage daughter suffered a traumatic brain injury after falling off a retaining wall while playing with friends. In 2004, Jones’ daughter was named a Children’s Miracle Network Miracle Kid.
