According to a report from NBC News in Atlanta, Fulton County Assistant District Attorney April McConnell has been shot and is in critical condition as the result of an apparent domestic dispute. The report said McConnell’s “estranged or ex-husband apparently shot her and her new boyfriend.”
According to the State Bar of Georgia, McConnell joined the bar in 2011 and is a graduate of the Emory University School of Law. She is among the team of Fulton prosecutors assigned to the Atlanta Public Schools cheating scandal case.
