Musician Gregg Allman has filed a lawsuit in Chatham County Superior Court to block movie producers from continuing with filming his life story after an accident on the set killed a member of the crew and injured six others.

The Associated Press reported that a Chatham County Superior Court judge has scheduled a hearing May 12 to consider Allman’s request for a restraining order to stop work on the movie until the lawsuit is resolved.
