A Fulton County judge has refused to order an attorney representing the family of a young girl sexually assaulted and murdered at a Canton apartment complex to remove a news article of the crime from his website.

Fulton County State Court Judge John Mather ruled that such a move might violate the First Amendment and U.S. Supreme Court strictures against unconstitutional prior restraint, as laid out in the 1971 Pentagon Papers decision.
