The husband of one of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” was sentenced Tuesday in federal court in Atlanta to an eight-year prison term for a bank fraud scheme that involved stolen checks, fraudulent auto loans, fraudulent tax returns and stolen identities.
U.S. District Senior Judge Charles Pannell sentenced Atlanta resident Apollo Nida—the husband of television “housewife” Phaedra Parks, a lawyer—after Nida pleaded guilty to his role in a scheme that federal prosecutors say spanned more than four years and and victimized more than 50 people.
