Federal charges against longtime DeKalb County Commissioner Elaine Boyer, who resigned Monday from the seat she has held since 1992, are part of a wide-ranging, ongoing investigation of “a number” of DeKalb County public officials, U.S. Attorney Sally Yates said Tuesday.
Yates said her office also is coordinating its investigation with an ongoing but separate corruption probe by DeKalb District Attorney Robert James.
