Plaintiffs who blame DeKalb County Recorders Court for wrongful arrests filed a new complaint Monday alleging the county and the court violated state sunshine laws. They are seeking $167,000 in penalties.

The Open Records Act lawsuit in DeKalb County Superior Court alleges recorders court workers partially ignored or improperly denied numerous requests made by the plaintiffs and their lawyers for documents related to court operations and files. The plaintiffs sought the documents to help their case over the arrests.
