A local criminal defense attorney said he found something unexpected when Fulton County prosecutors turned over recordings of phone calls his client had made from the Fulton County Jail as part of routine discovery last month: Conversations between himself and his client—the taping of which is expressly prohibited by law, he said.

“I was shocked to learn that my phone number and conversations were included,” said Ross & Pines partner Noah Pines. “And needless to say, I was pissed.”
