When he’s not litigating complex corporate, product liability and toxic tort cases, you might find Alston & Bird partner Bernard Taylor in Rwanda, Tanzania, Madagascar or Ethiopia.
His trips aren’t vacations. Since 2007, Taylor has volunteered to make field visits to Africa for the U.S. Fund for UNICEF with the purpose of helping that organization assess conditions and find ways to protect and save the world’s most vulnerable children. This year the U.S. Fund for UNICEF awarded him its Global Philanthropist Award.
