Just average. That about sums up fiscal year 2013 base salary increases among most general counsel at publicly held companies in the South whose compensation was reported in Securities and Exchange Commission proxies.
Generally, GCs—much like the average American worker—found that if their base salary increased, it wasn’t by much.
