After 19 years practicing insurance defense law, Matthew Hilt has switched to the plaintiffs’ side and joined Morgan & Morgan.
Hilt, who had a solo practice at The Hilt Firm, said he’s become a plaintiffs lawyer because “the pendulum swing of the [insurance] industry seems to be away from fighting cases and toward cutting attorneys’ fees. Some of the carriers that I worked for seemed to be following that trend.”
