Keeping outside legal spending down and looking good to management were common themes in a new survey asking Southeastern general counsel what is on their minds.
ALM Legal Intelligence, a Daily Report affiliate, conducted the survey and 102 general counsel and deputy general counsel of Southeastern companies responded. The majority (52 percent) worked for companies with more than $1 billion in annual revenue. The top industries were health care and pharmaceuticals (20 percent), financial services (13 percent), energy/natural resources (8 percent) and construction/real estate (7 percent).
