A man hit by a car while he was walking through a crosswalk will collect nothing for his claims of $140,000 in medical bills because a Hall County jury found him 50 percent at fault for his injuries.
“It was a tough case, but we had to try it,” said David Zagoria, who with law partner Michael Webb represented the pedestrian. They had made a demand for the $100,000 Geico policy limit of the driver but were offered only $25,000. They asked the jury for $190,000.
