Two years after starting the state’s first tax court, Chuck Beaudrot Jr. is returning to Morris Manning & Martin, where he was the firm’s senior tax partner for 30 years.

“This was an extremely difficult decision for me. I’ve really enjoyed working at the tribunal and I’m really proud of what we’ve accomplished. I don’t think anybody knew what to expect—and it’s worked out really well,” said Beaudrot, the chief judge of the Georgia Tax Tribunal.
