Nancy Johnson, the longtime law librarian for Georgia State University College of Law, died on Dec. 13 after a seven-year battle with ovarian cancer. She was 65.

Johnson began working at Georgia State’s law library as a reference librarian in 1982. She became its law librarian in 1986, after earning a law degree from GSU the same year. The Chicago native received a master’s degree in library science in 1974 from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and an undergraduate degree in history from Marycrest College in Iowa in 1971.
