A Fulton County jury heard opening arguments Tuesday in a civil suit brought against the dental practice where a young woman was sexually molested while she was under anesthesia. The plaintiff, identified in court filings only as “J.B.,” is one of 18 victims of nurse-anesthesiologist Paul Serdula, who recorded himself assaulting patients at several health care facilities before he was arrested in 2009 and subsequently sentenced to life in prison.
