Calling a fraud scheme that defrauded Northwest and Delta airlines of $36 million “astounding,” U.S. Attorney Sally Yates on Friday announced that one of the scheme’s two perpetrators has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
U.S. District Judge Timothy Batten on Friday sentenced Hollywood producer Michael Yedor, who pleaded guilty last October to conspiracy to commit mail fraud. Yedor was the chairman and CEO of Kings Road Entertainment and Kings Road Productions in Los Angeles, according to various business websites. One part of his plea deal is that he forfeit his interests in the production companies.
