A Chattahoochee Circuit Superior Court judge who stepped down from the bench more than three years ago amid an ethics investigation won’t get to come out of retirement.

Judge Douglas Pullen changed his mind shortly after he promised to retire and never again seek judicial office in return for the state Judicial Qualifications Commission ending its probe. He has fought to revoke the agreement since September 2011, but the state Supreme Court on Monday denied Pullen’s petition for review.
