A jury in Bainbridge returned a $150 million verdict Thursday evening for the family of a child killed by an exploding gas tank in a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was hit from behind.
The jury determined that Chrysler was 99 percent at fault and the driver of the pickup truck that hit the Jeep was 1 percent at fault. The verdict awarded $120 million for the full value of the life of Remington Walden, plus $30 million for his pain and suffering as he died in the flames.
