Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart posted big gains in revenue and profit in what its managing shareholder, Kim Ebert, called a “phenomenal year” for the labor and employment firm.

Revenue was up 7.5 percent to $373 million. Net income increased 20 percent to $92.5 million, which caused profit per partner to jump by a hefty $85,000 to $615,000. Revenue per lawyer increased by only $10,000 to $530,000, in part because the firm increased its head count from 668 to 701 lawyers.
