The mother of a young man shot to death last year has sued the owner and management company of the luxury Midtown high-rise apartment complex where the slaying occurred.
Brandon Gibson, 21, was shot at about 3:30 a.m. Aug. 31 in a hallway of the SkyHouse Midtown apartments on West Peachtree Street near 12th Avenue. According to contemporaneous media reports and the attorney filing the suit, witnesses said there may have been a music video shoot going on at the time of Gibson’s death.
