Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton has let it be known it will be a force to be reckoned with in this year’s competition to benefit the state’s food banks, pulling ahead of the Marietta consumer debt collection firm of Frederick Hanna in the online fundraising race.

As of late Wednesday afternoon, Kilpatrick Townsend had raised $4,400, while Hanna’s firm had raised $2,500. Overall, the legal community had raised $28,000 as the third day of the competition, which runs through May 1, drew to a close. That figure represents about 28 percent of the Frenzy’s goal.
