With a surge of online donations, the Georgia legal community on Thursday came within striking distance of reaching this year’s Legal Food Frenzy goal before the contest ends on Friday.
As of Thursday afternoon, more than $93,000 had been donated to the state’s food banks online. The organizers had sent the online fundraising goal at $100,000. Competitors’ online fundraising portals will remain active until 11:59 p.m. Friday.
