The Irwin County Hospital Authority is paying $520,000 to settle a whistleblower suit by two hospital X-ray technicians.

Michael Moore, U.S. attorney for the Middle District of Georgia in Macon, said the settlement ends a federal investigation into allegations that the Ocilla hospital violated federal anti-kickback laws and defrauded the federal Medicare and Medicaid programs.
