Mike Athans has left the litigation firm he helped found 11 years ago, Fields, Howell, Athans & McLaughlin, to become a name partner at another local litigation boutique, Casey Gilson—which is now Gilson Athans.

Jeff Kershaw also has joined the firm as a shareholder. He’d worked with Athans at Fields Howell before going in-house with an insurance company, Hiscox USA.
