A DeKalb County state court jury awarded a semi-professional football coach $7,000 in damages – less than half of a previous settlement offer – for injuries sustained during a car accident that left him with a deformed toe.

Plaintiff Evan Terrell, represented by Slover Law’s Sutton Slover, had originally asked for $62,000, and had turned down a $15,000 settlement offer before going to trial. Terrell had submitted about $6,000 in medical expenses.
