Attorney General Sam Olens was elected chairman of the Southern Region of the National Association of Attorneys General at the group’s summer meeting in San Diego.
Olens previously served as chairman of the Southern Region of the NAAG in 2013; he has been Georgia’s attorney general since 2010. According to a release from the Georgia Attorney General’s Office, as chairman, Olens will serve on the executive committee of NAAG and coordinate the agenda for the Southern Region.
