A Marietta woman and her family have filed a medical malpractice suit against the American Red Cross, claiming one of its employees improperly drew blood from the woman during a donation that resulted in neurological injuries.
The complaint, filed on July 2 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, is against the American National Red Cross, the American Red Cross Blood Services, Southern Region, as well as the two phlebotomists involved.
