A Marietta rabbi is planning to lead a gathering of lawyers and judges to mark the 100th anniversary of the lynching of Leo Frank on the ground where it happened.

The speakers list for the memorial service will include Georgia Supreme Court Chief Justice Hugh Thompson, retired justices Leah Sears and Norman Fletcher, Senior Assistant Attorney General of Georgia Van Pearlberg and Cobb County Superior Court Chief Judge J. Stephen Schuster, according to Rabbi Steven Lebow of Temple Kol Emeth. Lebow will conduct the ceremony at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, the eve of the 100th anniversary of Frank’s death.
