The new director of the state judicial watchdog agency has decided to step down from his role adjudicating a bar ethics complaint against Georgia’s speaker of the House of Representatives.
On Monday morning, Hiawassee attorney Mark Dehler notified the State Bar of Georgia, which lodged the complaint against House Speaker David Ralston, and the state Judicial Qualifications Commission, that he will step down as special master in the Ralston case.
