The state Supreme Court on Friday named a former DeKalb County Superior Court judge to preside over the State Bar of Georgia’s ethics complaint against the Speaker of the Georgia House of Representatives.
Jonathan Peters, a founding partner at Atlanta’s Peters & Monyak, is the third special master to preside over Ralston’s ethics case. Peters served as a DeKalb Superior Court judge from 1986 to 1991 and is a former member of the bar’s disciplinary panel. The firm website highlights Peters’ credentials as an experienced mediator and arbitrator.
