King & Spalding opened a Tokyo office on Friday with four partners from London-based Ashurst who handle energy and resources projects. The launch came after receiving requisite approvals from the Japanese Ministry of Justice.
This gives King & Spalding its second office in Asia—after opening a Singapore office in 2010—and its 10th outside the United States. The firm has 18 offices in all.
