A federal prosecutor in Atlanta, nominated by the White House as an ambassador-at-large, appeared Tuesday at her confirmation hearing before the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
Sen. Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., introduced Assistant U.S. Attorney Susan Coppedge and voiced his support for her nomination as ambassador-at-large and director of the Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons at the U.S. State Department.
