A Florida-based entertainment business consulting company has won a $2.25 million verdict against a Conyers businessman and his company on claims of breach of contract and fraud.
After a trial before Rockdale County State Court Judge Nancy Bills, the jury on Oct. 29 awarded $2 million for breach of contract and $250,000 for fraud to Florida-based Trackfinders Music Group Inc., doing business as MC2 Funding Group. The breach of contract award was split evenly between two defendants, Jefferson Blair and his company, the Baoming Group. The jury placed the fraud damages 100 percent against Blair.
