There was a time when Barry Morgan faced a decision on his career path. He could remain the lead band director at a large Cobb County high school. Or he could attend law school at night and pursue a legal career.
Morgan was worried, at the time, that if he chose law he’d have to give up music. As it turned out, even now that he’s the Cobb County solicitor general, the 60-year-old Morgan couldn’t give up music if he tried. The music community won’t let him leave.
