Patent litigator Ryan Walsh has left national plaintiffs’ firm Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd to join Jones Day as a partner.
He said he’s returned to a large corporate firm to develop a more “well-rounded” intellectual property practice, where he will likely continue to do some plaintiffs work, but not exclusively. “My intent is not to solely represent defendants but to have a more traditional practice. It will certainly not be a contingency practice, but on a more traditional billable basis,” Walsh said.
