The U.S. Attorney’s office in Atlanta collected more than $255 million in forfeited funds from prosecutions and settlements of civil cases during the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30, according to U.S. Attorney John Horn.

The Atlanta office also collected an additional $498 million through civil and criminal cases it pursued with other U.S. attorneys across the country or with the U.S. Justice Department in Washington, Horn said, ranking it sixth in the nation in overall financial recoveries.
