Stephanie Everett, a former Big Law associate who helped launch a new firm then started coaching lawyers, has been selected to be the first executive director of the state’s new incubator program.

The board of directors overseeing the program, designed to give new lawyers the tools to start their own law firms, tapped Everett for the job earlier this month, according to Hulett “Bucky” Askew, the board’s chairman. “She’s perfectly suited to do what needs to be done here,” said Askew, “and she’s very energetic and enthusiastic about the job.”
