On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I would like to express condolences to the family, colleagues and many friends of longtime Atlanta attorney Michael J. Egan on his recent passing.
Mr. Egan was a partner in the Atlanta firm of Sutherland, Asbill & Brennan during his distinguished career of 45 years in the legal profession. He also served his community and state as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives, including service as House minority leader, and, later, the Georgia Senate, earning the respect of his colleagues and fellow Georgians on both sides of the political aisle.
