With 2016 races for judicial positions shaping up around metro Atlanta, another candidate has announced plans to run for an open seat on Fulton County Superior Court.

The newest candidate is Andrew Margolis, a Fulton County Magistrate Court judge and former prosecutor who now has a private practice, Margolis Legal Group. Margolis said he plans to run for the seat now held by Judge Wendy Shoob, who has said she will not seek re-election. Margolis has one announced opponent, Eric Dunaway, DeKalb County chief assistant district attorney.
