President Barack Obama has nominated a federal judge from Alabama to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Atlanta.
The president nominated Judge Abdul K. Kallon, whom he appointed to the federal bench in the Northern District of Alabama in 2010, to replace Circuit Judge Joel Dubina, who took senior status in 2013.
