A federal judge on Tuesday approved $1 million bond for Nathan Hardwick IV, whom the government has accused of embezzling $20 million from his former firm, Morris Hardwick Schneider.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Justin Anand had said at a Feb. 25 hearing that he was inclined to grant Hardwick bond, but only under restrictive conditions of home detention with electronic monitoring—and if the security was high enough.
