Eight candidates vying to fill three open seats on the Fulton County Superior Court bench on Wednesday fielded incisive questions by fellow attorneys as to their qualifications and courtroom experience. The sometimes pointed queries drilled down into the details of case-management, scheduling and even the role of a judge’s staff lawyer.
The forum at the State Bar of Georgia included Fulton County prosecutor Gabriel Banks, running against Thomas Cox, of counsel with Fisher & Phillips, for the seat being vacated by Judge T. Jackson Bedford.
