Dentons partner Randy Evans made national headlines last week by suggesting Donald Trump will win the Republican presidential nomination even if he falls short of a majority of delegates during the closing primary season. In a presidential election marked by unpredictability, Evans’ insights from his seat on the Rules Committee of the Republican National Committee registered importance with political pundits trying to predict the outcome of the GOP convention in July.

On the statewide level, Evans is also involved in a key selection as co-chairman of Gov. Nathan Deal’s Judicial Nominating Commission. Assuming Deal signs a bill adding two new justices to the Supreme Court of Georgia, Evans will co-chair the process of recommending finalists for Deal to consider for the post.
